Exploring with Taos Footwear: Balanced Comfort & Style

We love getting out and about on the island and exploring all that Oahu has to offer. There is so much more to discover that goes beyond beaches, hikes and pretty views. One such area is Honolulu’s Kaka‘ako neighborhood. Filled with vibrant murals, eclectic restaurants and funky shops it’s a great area to spend hours wandering around.

And you best be sure that if I am spending hours wandering, I want to be comfortable. That’s where wearing the right footwear comes in. You want something comfy that will offer great support, as well as great style. I mean come on, if you’re going to be taking photos in front of murals, you wanna look cute, am I right?! 😉

The Canvas Sneaker of Your Dreams

I’ve found the perfect balance of comfort and style with my Taos canvas sneakers. My daughter and I spent hours wandering around Kaka‘ako, checking out different artwork, that is scattered all around the neighborhood. I was really able to enjoy the whole day, exploring with Taos Footwear, left me bouncing around from wall to wall like my feet were on clouds.

And did I mention how adorable these are? I chose a more neutral color and went with the light grey distressed, but there are a bunch of colors to choose from, ranging from brighter tones to more basic neutrals. There really is something for everyone.

And there are so many different ways to style your Taos sneakers. You can easily wear them with shorts and a tee, cuffed jeans and a blouse, or even pair them up with a cute flowy skirt. They have a lovely structured silhouette, that is built for all-day wear, regardless of your destination. A perfect travel shoe if you ask me.

I know that I will be exploring with Taos footwear for the rest of the summer and right into the fall.
