I have been wanting to redecorate our master bedroom for a long time. There always seems to be something else that takes priority in the home, but I’m finally motivated to focus on an update and I believe I can do it without spending a fortune. I’m looking to create the master bedroom of my bohemian dreams.
I’ve always loved bohemian inspired decor and thought it would be the perfect flavor for the master bedroom. I plan on adding to what I already have in the bedroom versus a total overhaul, hence not spending a fortune. My current bedroom tones consist of mostly neutral greys and white so it should be easy to build upon.
Check out some of this Pinterest board to see more of what’s been inspiring me. I’m loving all of the different textures and colors!
Isn’t the decor above dreamy? I really want to warm up the room with some new layers and textures to create a sort of comfy oasis. I also want to work in a few plants but I’m not sure if I will go for real or silk. I’d love to have real plants but I have a bit of a black thumb…working on that though! Ha. Here are a few items on my current wishlist (that keeps growing).

What do you all think? Are you feeling the bohemian vibes? What pieces are your favorite and am I missing anything? I would love to hear what you think in the comments. Aloha!

August 3, 2018 at 2:14 PMIf I didn’t have two teens and my husband to stop me I’d totally go for a boho vibe in the house. Ours is more modern practical lol

July 31, 2018 at 1:25 PMI find the earthy colors, cool patterns and textures relaxing and laid back. This is a decor style I could definitely embrace! I’m always drawn to Bohemian clothing but don’t know why I’ve never thought of bringing it into the home. I have a black thumb too! Fortunately, my husband has a green thumb so at least one of us can keep the plants and garden alive.

July 31, 2018 at 2:27 PMI just love the laid back vibe of boho style! But I also want it to feel clean and fresh…if I can balance the two. I’m getting better with my deck plants so maybe there’s hope for me yet. Thanks Lori!

July 31, 2018 at 10:25 AMI love the different textures of the Bohemian style. Having the plants gives you an earthy, simple feeling that would be so relaxing. Great choice for a bedroom! I would say that the plants are my favorite part.

July 31, 2018 at 11:09 AMI totally agree. I really want real plants but the husband will rolls his eyes (considering my track record with keeping them alive!)
