Axe Throwing Fun at Blade & Timber Honolulu

Blade and Timber Honolulu

Mahalo to Blade & Timber for the sneak peek of their new Honolulu location.

Looking for something new to do this weekend? Perhaps a place to relax and I don’t know, maybe channel your inner lumberjack? Then come on out to Blade & Timber’s newest location and experience axe throwing right here in Honolulu!

Established in 2017, Blade & Timber currently has 6 locations and is showing no signs of slowing down in 2019. They’re passionate about creating extraordinary entertainment and their unique axe throwing experience proves it.

What to Expect

Blade & Timber recommends that you book online to guarantee your experience. No payment or deposit is necessary to book online! They do accept walk-ins based on availability but why risk disappointment if you can just book online.

We arrived and checked-in at the front desk and signed a waiver. It was super quick and makes sense considering we would be throwing some axes around!

We were then led to our own private lane which can accommodate up to 6 people. There are also good sized hightop tables with chairs in front of each lane where you can sit and have BYO food and drinks. (no alcohol allowed)

Before you even pick up an axe you are given some safety guidelines from a Blade & Timber coach who also helps guide you through your first couple of throws. Let me tell you, it was a bit harder than I thought it would be! But the coaches were very helpful and once I got a hang of it, I was hitting the bullseye in no time.

We mostly spent our time just trying to hit the target but there are a bunch of games that you can get into once you become a bit more proficient at throwing. There is a handy guide on each table with game suggestions.

Other Details

Blade & Timber is open to ages 10 and up although I opted not to bring my kiddos on this visit. You must wear close-toed shoes but that is pretty much the only requirement. You can book private lanes or pay individually and share a lane with others. The atmosphere is relaxed and I really enjoyed the vibe.

All-in-all a very fun experience! If you are looking for something different to do with friends or a unique place to host your next company outing, be sure to check out Blade & Timber Honolulu. Aloha!

How much fun this would be! Axe throwing is one of those things you would never think about doing, but would be so cool to do it when given the opportunity!

How interesting! I didn’t know, but after reading your article, I checked for axe throwing places here in Texas and found several of them. I will keep it in mind!

Axe throwing seems so fun! There are a few bars near me in Oregon that have axe throwing leagues that I’ve been meaning to check out.
