It may sound surprising but one of the main staples in my island-based closet is a cozy cardigan. Why, you say, would someone who lives in tropical weather have multiple long sleeved, sweater-like pieces? Simple, my office is an ice-box.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining. I actually love that it is cold in my 9-5 abode because it allows me to almost have a seasonal wardrobe, almost. So regardless of my ensemble for the day, I always coordinate a cute cardigan to pull on once I enter those sliding glass doors. (affiliate links below)

My favorite kinds of cardigans are longer, super cozy and can work with jeans and a tee or pencil skirt and wedges. I live in these cardigans and often have one with me even when not working. You never know when it could drop below 75 degrees.
