Clean up the Clutter Clutter in the bedroom can be a real deterrent when you’re trying to relax. I think the bedroom might actually be one of the most important rooms in the house to keep tidy. The key is to stay on top of the clutter and to have a way to easily tidy up when you need to. Start by putting away clothes strewn about. I find that clothes in my bedroom often collect at the end of the bed. Next, clear off and organize the tops of nightstands and bureaus.
